After the treatment is completed, I like to spend time letting your animal run around and explore again, allowing them to have a wee and a sniff again. While they do this we can talk about what we see following the treatment. Some are a little sleepy after they receive an adjustment and others will be rejuvenated.

I will likely send you home with a few ideas of how I would like your next couple days of exercising and training to look for your animal. It might be advisable to rest your dog for a few days and let them recover, or it may be great to get them back into a gentle walk/run or even beach walk following the appointment. 

Stretching is also very valuable in ensuring your pet has the best recovery and injury management. These are usually very easy stretches, which I will go through with you and your animal - having you try one out with me before you leave. These stretches can warm the muscles, improve strength, and reduce the risk of further or secondary injuries.
